Movement is life.

I'm not necessarily referring only to active sports, but to the movements that ensure optimal development, enabling the effectiveness of our daily activities. Ensuring efficient development is only achievable through practicing and, if necessary, developing the appropriate movement patterns.

The foundation for the development of basic movements and elementary motor skills starts during the fetal stage and continues after birth. However, due to various reasons, the pace, extent, and level of development may fall short of what is expected.

This can result in delays in the development of abilities such as speech, body schema, laterality, spatial orientation, large motor skills, balance, fine motor skills, verbal, auditory, and visual attention, or long- and short-term memory, which may later lead to learning, social, psychological, or behavioral disorders.

In most cases, these delays become evident when children start school, where many of these abilities require more time and effort to develop effectively. Therefore, it's important to identify any developmental delays as early as possible, so that the child can receive support in their development with the help of a professional.

During movement development sessions, I focus on developing these essential skills and abilities needed for learning. The level of development of movement patterns is closely related to the development of skills required in daily life, not only in childhood but also in adulthood.

The theme of each movement development session is tailored to the specific challenges of the individual, based on an assessment of their needs, ensuring a personalized approach.

To enhance the effectiveness of the sessions, if necessary, I incorporate Hatha yoga asanas, breathing exercises, and meditations, providing a holistic approach to the development of the participant's abilities, not only from a physical perspective. In addition to developing motor skills, yoga can contribute to self-awareness, self-image, confidence, stress reduction, uncovering personality strengths, boosting the immune system, and promoting restful sleep.
